THE GATEWAY TO AVIATION

THE GATEWAY TO AVIATION

Expanded exhibit space for more aviation innovations!

EAA OSHKOSH has always been the place for aviation businesses to show the latest technological wonders. In 1995, there are two new buildings offering more than 80,000 square feet of display space for the latest and greatest in the world of flight!

The new North and South Exhibit Hangars maintain EAA's commitment to present the entire world of sport aviation. The new exhibit hangars are located just inside the main gate.

The new facilities, as well as the flight line exhibit buildings, the Outdoor Exhibit area, the Fly Market and the Aeromart offer you a chance to see what is new in the world of flight. If you're looking for a new altimeter, a whole new airplane or just a cool flying T-shirt, you'll find it in the EAA OSHKOSH commercial exhibit area!

What to do? Where to start?

The EAA Fly-In Convention is more than just airplanes and pilots Ñit's for those who enjoy the excitement aviation has to offer. More than 500 educational forums, seminars and workshops are held throughout the week, ranging from the very basic to the highly technical. The Convention's "Theater in the Woodsy presents special evening programs that recognize and honor those who have made a difference in aviation and world history. Informal learning sessions take place throughout the convention site as people from all over the world meet and talk about a common love of airplanes.

Maybe your interest is more with those who might walk on wings or loop through the clouds. Whether you enjoy the speed or precision of world-class aerobatics, the performers in the daily afternoon air shows at EAA OSHKOSH have one thing in commonÑthey're among the very best in the world.

Special air show programs highlight each day's performance. You may see the craftsmanship of the homebuilts, watch as vintage airplanes take to the sky or feel the thunder of the Warbirds flying past in formation.

In addition, pilots take numerous opportunities throughout the week to do what they like bestÑ fly! You'll see the best and brightest at EAA OSHKOSH!

Every Year, 800,000 People Come Home to Oshkosh!

Simply by sheer numbers, there is nothing to compare to EAA OSHKOSH. In 1994, more than 850,000 people from 75 countries attended. In excess of 12,000 airplanes filled rows that stretch for more than five miles!

Add to that more than 600 exhibitors, 5,000 volunteers, 2,500 show planes, 1,100 media representatives and 500-plus forums, seminars and workshops, and you quickly realize that the entire world of aviation comes together every year at EAA OSHKOSH.

Numbers don't tell the biggest part of the story, however. EAA OSHKOSH captures the true spirit of aviation for pilots, builders, dreamers or those who simply enjoy airplanes and the people who fly them.

You'll have the chance to talk with those who have shaped world history through the air or those who are making history by designing and building tomorrow's airplanes.

Most important, EAA OSHKOSH is the meeting place for all of aviation. Government officials, industry leaders and aviation enthusiasts gather to discuss the future of aviation in an informal atmosphere that can't be duplicated in any conference room.
