Major topics will include spin awareness and training, developing collision avoidance techniques, instructor endorsements and responsibilities, and weather/computer services for the pilot, including TAF/METAR reports and forecasts. Special topics will include teaching landings (Howard Manning, Oakland FSDO), A PTS update (Steve Benedict, Santa Rosa area DPE), and Weather and computer services for the pilot (Art Hayssen, ASC). A forum on pilot/controller responsibilities will be held with representatives from the Santa Rosa control tower and Oakland Center.
