Oakland Center is now accepting reservations for Operation Raincheck. This is an all day program with speakers from Oakland Center, Oakland AFSS, Bay TRACON, Flight Standards, and the National Weather Service. You will also monitor ATC operations on the Control Room floor. For reservations, please call Karen Gardner at (510) 745-3307. Operation Raincheck is an FAA sanctioned safety seminar and counts towards the WINGS program. We look forward to meeting you.
OPERATIONS AT NON-TOWERED AIRPORTS & COLLISION
AVOIDANCE
Collision avoidance is the primary objective of each pilot during all phases of flight. this becomes of even greater importance while operating at non-towered airports. Tonight's program will describe the approved method through video presentations and will encourage audience participation. Proper entry and exit patterns will be presented and reviewed
