Travel Pilot is always looking for Good aviation travel articles, human interest, and fiction stories. Below is a brief description of what we are looking for.
Article must contain information related to the general aviation pilot. Word count between 2,000 and 3,000 and photo's are highly recommended.
The catch all catagory. A great little airport, an old pilot with interesting aviation stories, a personel experience or anything else related to aviation will be considered. Word count 750 to 1,500 with photos as applicable.
It must be aviation related! Any Genre. No Graphic violence or sexual content. Word count 2,000 to 3,000.
Just about anything....Keep it concise.
Send work to the address listed above. Allow 4-6 weeks for regular mail response and 2 weeks for email response.
Text: Hard Copies, electronic format (Ascii, Wordperfect, Microsoft Word)
Graphics: Photos, Negatives, Slides, electronic format (GIF, TIFF, BMP, JPG)
Send all submissions with Stamped self addressed envelopes if you would like the material returned.
Work accepted is compensated as follows:
Pay is one cent per
word and $5.00 per photo. (not enough to make you rich but just enough
to qualify as paid compensation.)
